Tracy Sane DVM
Dr. Sane has been the owner of the Greenwich Village Animal Hospital since 2006. A native of Tennessee, he grew up on a farm surrounded by animals of all kinds, which sparked his interest in the veterinary field. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. Dr. Sane has a special interest in surgery, i.e. orthopedic, soft tissue and laser surgery. In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking, drawing and painting.

Dr. Jim Dasbach is a 1982 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. An Ohio native, his vet career has been pursued in Natick, Nantucket and Andover Massachusetts prior to his arrival in New York City in 2004. Wendy McCulloch DVM
Dr. McCulloch completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Otago in her native New Zealand and Florida International University in Miami. She obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Florida and completed a veterinary internship at the Animal Medical Center in NYC.  She became interested in integrating Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) into her daily practice and went on to study Veterinary Acupuncture at the Chi Institute near Gainesville in Florida. She has been a general practitioner in and around NYC and New Jersey for the past seven years and running her own house call practice. She shares her home in New Jersey with her kitty, "JLo."

Michael Belsky (Technician)
Michael is an NYC native with a passion for animals. His experience started at a vocational high school of agriculture and animal science, which led him to work for a goat dairy in upstate NY for six years. His veterinary technician skills were honed by working at the ASPCA and private practices in the outer boroughs for seven years before arriving at the Greenwich Village Animal Hospital in 2008.

  Jane Dally (Technician)
Jane is the newest member of the Greenwich Village Animal Hospital team. A lifelong New Yorker, she has loved animals for as long as she can remember, and had childhood dreams of being a veterinarian. Rescuing a kitten in her early 20s re-ignited her interest in the veterinary field, and she graduated from the LaGuardia Community College veterinary technology program in 2005. She has worked in several veterinary hospitals around the city. Jane has a special interest in cats and reptiles, the newest edition to her collection being a White's Tree Frog named Winston. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, movies, taking trips with friends, hanging around the house with her boyfriend and bothering her two cats, Gizmo and Tasha.

Archie Hudson (Shop Cat)
Archie was born in a back yard in Red Hook, Brooklyn in 2007. He is the shop cat behind the scenes at GVAH. Only a select few clients have ever seen him, as he prefers to keep out of sight and doze in the back room until after closing. But when night falls, he springs into action, chasing his brother Carl around the hospital, front and back.

Carl Hudson (Shop Cat)
Carl was born in a back yard in Red Hook, Brooklyn in 2007. He is the front-of-house shop cat for GVAH, occasionally assisting with reception, but mostly napping in his donut at the front desk. Carl enjoys sniffing client's cat carriers, chasing his brother Archie, and updating his Facebook page. He has asked us to add that he is also very soft.

Daniel Lin-Rivera (Technician)
Dan has been working in animal care since 2001. He has volunteered his time to the Bronx Zoo Education Dept., has worked for the Greenwich Village Animal Hospital since 2006, and knows way more about fish than is commonly considered healthy. In early adulthood, Dan was inhabited by an alien life-form that compelled him to produce artwork on an ongoing basis, and he continues to play host to this parasite today.

Eric Shepherd (Reception)
Eric grew up in a family of animal lovers. "As far back as I can remember we always had pets. I have photos with all of them." Eric moved to NYC by way of Michigan in early 2001 and has worked in the animal-care industry since 2002. Eric is an avid cook, and will very happily tell you what he’s planning to make for dinner, though he may or may not invite you over to sample it.

Jason Wugalter (Technician)
Born and raised on Long Island, Jason grew up having dogs and exotic pets. When he was a teenager, he worked at a local veterinary clinic, and that experience sparked his passion for being part of a veterinary medical team. He says, "It is a great feeling to help the sick animals through the good and bad. I look foward to each and every day I come to work!"

Krystal Yu (Technician)
Born and raised in Queens, NY, Krystal has a strong love for animals and graduated from Cornell with a BS in Animal Science. She has worked at Greenwich Village Animal Hospital since 2005 and everything she knows about teching was learned here. She doesn't have pets of her own due to building regulations, but she fills that void by sharing her love with the many pets she takes care of through her successful freelance petsitting business. Outside of work, Krystal can be found snowboarding away the winter season, feeding her inner foodie around the city, and making the most of what the city has to offer with her friends.
